Meeting Minutes 
AGRICULTURAL COMMISSION 
January 21, 2021 
Zoom Meeting 
 
Present: M. Allison, M. Holman, K. McClellan 
Chair called the meeting to order at 7:05pm.   
 
Public Comment/Open Discussion: none. 
 
-Economic Development Comm. Appointment update:  M. Allison stated that planning board 
had officially changed the requirement of being a business owner for the AgCom appointment.  
M. Holman expressed interest in being appointed and will reach out to the other members. 
-Public market update:  M. Allison corrected himself.  MGL chapter 40  section 10 requires 5% 
of the registered voters signatures.  The Town Clerk said there are just over 8,000 registered, 
which would require over 450 signatures.   
-Draft flyer discussion: M. Holman suggested enlisting professional services, and also found 3 
other towns that had done something similar as examples.  M. Holman will invite a graphic artist 
to an upcoming meeting for further discussion. 
 
Public Comment/Open Discussion: M. Allison stated that the Lunenburg Ledger had run front 
page stories on Lanni Orchards and Highland Farm in the past 2 months. 
 
Next meeting set for February 18, 2021. 
 
M. Holman moved to adjourn, K. McClellan 2nd.  Roll call, all aye.  Adjourned at 7:28pm.
