CURRENT BUSINESS                •Review and Approve Minutes of February 4, 2026, February 25, 2026, April 8, 2026, and April 22, 2026, May 13, 2026, and June 3, 2026. Executive Session Minutes for April 8, 2026, April 22, 2026, and May 13, 2026.                        No public or executive session minutes were reviewed or approved. •Update of Neighborhood Review Project Rena Swezey has completed the site indexes for the lakefront/waterfront properties. Along the way, she identified and corrected mislabeled properties. There were also several land use codes that needed to manually be changed. Rena Swezey anticipates starting to review “Little Hickory” next. •Status on Principal Assessor search Karen Barrett confirmed there are 2 candidates that will be going into the second round of interviews. •Seniors Means Tested Exemption presentation Brian Laffond suggests having the presentation at the Adult Activity Center in early August. Karen Barrett will reach out to the Director at the Adult Activity Center regarding scheduling. Brian Laffond contacted Lou Franco who facilitated the writing and sponsored the legislation to the legislature. Applications for the Senior Means Tested Exemption will be accepted beginning in early August through September 2, 2026. There was a brief discussion about the Veterans Exemption and whether the Town would adopt an increase from $400 to $600 (or some other amount). There will be further discussion at upcoming meetings in hopes of having something to present at the November Special Town Meeting.
