1. Call to Order
• Terri Burchfield, Chair called the meeting to order at 7pm. This meeting is
being recorded for broadcast on the Lunenburg Public Access channel.
2. Communications
• Terri Burchfield announced the invitation for the volunteer reception at
the Eagle House on Thursday, September 19th, from 6-8PM.
Public Comment
• David Passios commented on the Solar Project proposed for Electric Avenue
which was discussed at the preceding BOS meeting. He is concerned about due
diligence prior to signing of an agreement.

resident and parent and not on behalf of the Finance Committee, though
he recognized that the costs imposed on families of students benefiting
from a "free and public education" was an issue that he is concerned about
both as a member of the community and as a member of the Finance
Committee. Terri Burchfield advised that it is best practice to specify when
speaking as a member of the community.
• Planning Board Chairman Matthew Allison advised that the Planning
Board is beginning the Master Planning process and discussing formation
of an Economic Development committee. He welcomes comments and
input from Finance Committee.
3. Request for Joint Meeting/Presentations
Terri Burchfield announced that she has sent an email to the chairs of the
Planning Board, School Committee, and BOS to schedule a joint meeting
or symposium. She is awaiting responses. She asked that members email
her specifically to outline their availability during the month of October.
Terri Burchfield announced that she has emailed the department chairs
for discussions with the Finance Committee.
4. Building Design Committee / Committee Appointments
• Terri Burchfield announced that requests for appointments to the Building
Design Committee and the Level Services Committee were expected.
• Peter Beardmore requested that the committee chairs clarify the role of
the Level Services Committee and that some of the inferred intent of the
committee falls within the domain of the Finance Committee.
• Discussion ensued as to the role and make-up of the Building Design
Committee at this stage in the process. The BOS has granted one of their
appointments to the School Committee.
