Lunenburg Finance Committee Meeting Minutes

Present Members: Chair Chris Menard, Vice Chair Jean Russell, Clerk Tom Gray, 
Committee Member Tanya Dall, Committee Member Ana Lockwood, Committee 
Member Mike Rupp, Committee Member Jay Simeone 
1. Call to Order 
  The meeting opened at 7:00 PM. 
 
2. Open Finance Committee Public Hearing and Continue to March 26 at 7:00 PM 
  There was a motion to open the Finance Committee public hearing and to  
 continue it until March 26 at 7PM by Tom gray, seconded by Tanya Dall. Roll  
 call vote. Mike Rupp aye, Ana Lockwood aye, Tanya Dall aye, Jay Simeone 
 aye, Tom Gray aye, Jean Russell aye, Chris Menard aye. 
Ana Lockwood expressed concern about the budget that the school 
 committee presented. According to bylaws a balanced budget is supposed  
 to be presented and that budget needs to be voted on prior to their 
 presentation at town meeting. 
Additionally, Ana Lockwood is aware of multiple workshops that have 
occurred where information has changed but haven’t been shared with the 
Committee.  
Chris Menard was unaware of any anticipated changes and will request the 
School Committee to present an updated presentation. Chris Menard will 
also request Town Manager present to the Committee any changes. 
Tom Gray suggests the school and the town present a budget that includes 
an override and one without an override.  
3.  Adjourn 
  There was a motion to adjourn by Jean Russell, seconded by Tom Gray. Roll 
 call vote. Mike Rupp aye, Ana Lockwood aye, Tanya Dall aye, Jay Simeone 
 aye, Tom Gray aye, Jean Russell aye, Chris Menard aye. 
The meeting closed at 7:14 PM.
