Present: D. Blatt, Greg Bittner, Neal Sullivan, Liz Murphy, John Londa
1. Meeting Called to order at 6:30 PM. Minutes for 05/05/2016 and 7/28/2016 were reviewed
and approved unanimously.
2. No Public Comment
3. Review of Present Projects- J. Londa presented the status of the Teen Center, Public Library
and Primary School lighting Project. The Director of the Library had requested that the
occupancy sensors be removed from the project. The committee continued to support the
installation of the sensors as a sound energy conservation measure. The projects were
expected to be started shortly
4. Review of new projects- J. Londa presented a proposal for a new project for Turkey Hill
School which would be aimed at improving the building envelope. This is likely a candidate
for the next round of grant funds. Elements Management had been requested to provide an
estimated cost and became the basis of the requested amount
5. MS-HS and DPW solar projects: J. Londa provided an update on the solar projects for the
two buildings. Both projects are still pending approval by the Select Board and are being
worked with Town Counsel and the interim Town Manager.
6. Approval of the GC7 Repurpose Table- J. Londa present a request to modify the grant by
including a request to fund an exterior envelope audit for the Turkey Hill Elementary School.
The Committee voted unanimously to approve the request. The Committee expressed a
desire to identify a vendor to look at the cost of conversion to natural gas at the public safety
building and to do a lighting survey of that building to support future grant requests.
7. Set date for next meeting- No meeting date was set for the next meeting.
