Other attendees: Jennifer Warren-Dyment (Town Manager), Chris Ruth (Facilities, Grounds & Recreation Department Director), Chris Stevens (Director of Facilities, Schools) Call to Order: 6:34 pm Agenda Discussion Review and approve any pending meeting minutes David Blatt made a motion to approve the meeting minutes from April 7, 2025 and June 2, 2025. Matt Snyder seconded. Meeting minutes unanimously approved by David Blatt, Kim Duffy, and Chris Holden. Public Comment None 2025 MA Municipal Energy Summit: Program Review, State Funding Available Dave Blatt attended MassSave Summit on June 3, 2025. Presentation was shared. • Lunenburg’s National Grid contact: Sean Krusz (sean.krsuz@nationalgrid.com) • K-12 School Decarbonization Initiative: Mass Save Municipal Energy Manager competitive grant & grant writer (many other towns our size have these and save more money than they spend on manager) • Free classes for facility staff on BMS basics and detailed programming • Decarbonization Planning: 1) Benchmarking/Prioritization (Portfolio Prioritization Plan >5 buildings), 2) Comprehensive Building Assessments (>5 buildings), 3) Focused Study, 4) Implement/receive incentive Dave B to schedule meeting with Chris Ruth, Chris Stevens, Sean Krusz, Matt O’Keefe, Kelly Brown to discuss the PPP Next MassSave Summit: October 2025 at Gillette Stadium Energy Audit for Turkey Hill Update Primary School: HVAC upgrades in-progress. Pending completion prior to school start. Turkey Hill is next priority but will wait for PPP Next Grant in Spring 2026 will be available to apply Styrofoam program update Tyler applied for a grant; waiting to hear back. Committee Make-Up Two 3-year, Two 2-year, One 1-year appointments Kim (became full member mid-year)– 2/22/24, expires 6/30/24. Renewed to 2027 Dave P (2 year initial): 8/12/21 – 6/30/23. 6/22/23, expires 6/30/26 Matt S (1 year initial): 8/21/21 – 6/30/22. 8/9/22, expires 6/30/25/renewed Chris (two year initial): 7/12/22, expire 6/30/24. Renewed to 2027 Dave B (initial term TBD) – expires 2027 Timeline for Next Meeting August 2025 Meeting Adjourned: Kim Duffy made a motion to adjourn the meeting; Chris Holden seconded.
