SPECIAL MEETING
MINUTES
April 24, 2024
Proper notice having been posted, the Commission held a special meeting to discuss an Open Meeting Law 
Complaint filed by Karin Menard March 8, 2024. Chairman Richard McGrath called the meeting to order at 
4:00 p.m. April 24, 2024 at the headquarters of the Lunenburg Historical Society, Inc., 10 School Street, 
Lunenburg, Massachusetts.  Present were Mr. McGrath, C. William Lakso, and Jennifer L. Sanderson.  Absent 
were Kevin Boussom  and Megan Lordan .
Chairman McGrath stated that discussing the complaint in open session would have a detrimental effect on the 
commission.  On motion regularly made by Mr. Lakso and seconded by Ms. Sanderson, the Commission 
unanimously voted to meet in executive session. 
Mr. McGrath declared the executive session open at 4:05 p.m.
Mr. McGrath closed the executive session at 4:15 p.m. p.m. and declared the meeting open.
On motion regularly made by Mr.Lakso  and seconded by Ms. Sanderson, the Commission unanimously voted:  
To a pprove  the  response to Karin Menard , prepared by Town Counsel, with copies distributed as required by 
law.
With no further business at hand, the meeting was adjourned.
