MINUTES
Parks Commission
Members present: Anita Scheipers, Karin Menard, and Colleen Shapiro
Absent: Christopher Sullivan
Additional Attendees: Tim Lawless
Meeting to order at 7:15 PM and A. Scheipers read “This meeting is being broadcast live and digitally 
recorded.” 
Joint Interview and Appointment with Parks Commission to fill vacancy until next Annual Town Election (May 
2025): Tim Lawless, 53 Whiting Street.
T. Lawless introduced himself and stated he is interested in the Parks Commission as he is enthusiastic about 
the outdoors and with two young children would like to get more involved.
Tom Alonzo, Selectboard member asked if T. Lawless intends to run for the remainder term for the next 
election. T. Lawless stated yes.
A. Scheipers recommend that they jointly appoint T. Lawless to the open position of the Parks Commission.
Motion made to appoint T. Lawless. K.Menard seconded. V ote taken, all in favor, motion carried (8-3).
