Scott Chase, Committee Vice-Chair, called meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
Ongoing/Current Business
1. Reviewed and approved March 16, 2017 minutes
2. No Personnel Action Forms
3. Discussed Cable Access Manager and Coordinator positions. The PACC needs to supply the
Personnel Committee with job descriptions. The current Cable Access Coordinator should be
move to the Cable Access Manager position. Comcast funds the PACC and controls it.
4. Town Beach Director and Life Guards. Currently positions not listed in the SAP, even though we
have people in these positions. The DPW Director will need attend the May Personnel Committee
meeting with job descriptions for these positions. Article to add these positons to SAP needs to
be prepared for fall 2017 Town Meeting.
5. Personnel Committee Projects - Heather Lemieux listed the following possible projects:
• Creation of positon descriptions currently listed on SAP that we do not have - Heather
Will give the Personnel Committee list of job descriptions that need to be written.
• Updating language in SAP to create greater flexibility
• Employee handbook (currently no handbook)
• Performance evaluations by function - BOS has discussed revival
• On-boarding and off-boarding process - create a more comprehensive process
Other Business
• Erik Arnold is interested in joining the Personnel Committee. Heather will contact him.
