Scott Chase, Committee Vice-Chair, called meeting to order at 6:35 p.m.
Ongoing/Current Business
1. Reviewed and approved April 24, 2017 minutes with recommended revisions.
2. Discussion regarding PAC Manager job description and the differences between this level and the
PAC Coordinator job. After review of the job description the Personnel Committee recommends
the education requirements be added. Personnel Committee approves the PAC Manager job
description on 6/7/17 with the following added to the job description: "Educational
Requirements: Associates Degree from accredited academic institution and/or 4 years of
relevant experience."
3. Personnel Action Forms - PAC Coordinator moved to PAC Manager (level 11, step 6).
Incumbent, Jo McLaughlin, has been performing at this level since she took the position. PAC
Chair, Steve Walker recommends moving her to the PAC Manager level. Personnel Committee
approved.
Other Business
• Lin Vickery and Scott Chase's terms are up for renewal. They both decided not to renew.
• Erik Arnold is appointed to the Personnel Committee.
• Another community member is considering joining the committee
Dave MacDonald wanted to personally thank Lin and Scott for their commitment to the
Personnel Committee for the last three years.
