Arnold Vote: All in Favor SAP Salary Survey: Heather provided additional information on other alternatives to utilizing an outside consultant to assist with the SAP compensation survey for 2019. We could purchase market data from other comprable towns to Lunenburg for about $5K. A consultant doing a full review of all appropriate jobs would cost about $20K. Each expense would require a warrent article to be presented at the Special Town Meeting November 13, 2018. ===PAGE 2=== Motion by S. Arnold Vote: All in Favor BOS Goals: General Discussion: Jamie Toale gave an overview of his thinking regarding the improvement needed in creating better processes to identify volunteers and organize appointments to town committees. The initial recruitment and then the onboarding of new volunteers needed to be better organized. Improvement in training and assessing skills needed and then more formal tools created to accomplish the needed training. Areas like understanding Roberts Rules; how Open Meeting rules needed to be applied and conflict of interest issues were some of the areas discussed. He asked how the Personnel Committee might be of assistance. While no formal agreements were initiated, there was interest in the committee spending time taking a look at creating some simple tools that might get the project started, especially in recruitment and onboarding. The group would further review at the next scheduled meeting. General Discussion: The committee determined that the next meeting will be held October 17, 2018 at 6:30pm. Motion by S. Andrews: to adjourn the meeting at 8:00pm 2nd: E. Arnold te: All in Favor
