Minutes: December 13, 2021 – Zoom Meeting

Julie Belliveau, Asst. Town Manager/HR Director;  
 
Meeting began at 5:02 pm with all attendees present, E. Arnold Committee Chair presiding 
 
Julie Belliveau introduced a new member of the committee, Wendy Bertrand. Wendy joins the  
Committee with many years’ service to the Town on the School Committee.   
 
Approval of Minutes: 
Minutes of the September 20, 2021 meeting reviewed 
 
Motion by J. Bilotta to accept and approve the minutes as presented  
Second: S. Andrews 
 
Roll Call Vote:   W. Bertrand abstained as she had not been present at that meeting, all other  
Members voted in favor of acceptance.

New Business 
New Hire Form 
 
Julie Belliveau presented a new hire document outlining a request to make an offer to a candidate 
that will fill the role of Principal Assessor on an interim basis.  The candidate has extensive 
experience in this role in other municipalities. Due to her current status as municipal retiree, she 
can only work a limited number of hours and is not a candidate for the permanent full time 
position. Based on her experience, the recommendation is to place her in grade 15, step 8.   
 
Motion by J. Bilotta to accept recommendation from the HR Director to offer this role at the 
proposed grade and step.
