PUBLIC HEARING 
MONDAY OCTOBER 19 , 2026 
Town Hall, 17 Main Street, Lunenburg, MA  
 
The Lunenburg Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing on MONDAY October 19 , 2026, at 6:00 pm, Town Hall, 17 Main Street, 
Lunenburg, MA  consider the following housekeeping zoning amendments for the Special Town Meeting on November 17, 2026:  
 
◼ Delete eleven references to “development plan” or “development plan review” and replace with “site plan” or “site plan 
review” in Lunenburg’s Zoning Bylaw (Section 250 of the Code of  the Town of  Lunenburg, MA).  
◼ Delete three references to the no longer in existence “Retail Commercial District” in Lunenburg’s Zoning Bylaw (Section 250 
of the Code of the Town of Lunenburg, MA).  
◼ Delete reference to the “Land Use Director” and replace with “Planning Director” in Lunenburg’s Zoning Bylaw (Section 250 of 
the Code of the Town of Lunenburg, MA).  
◼ Delete Section 250 -3.4 (“Two dwellings on one lot”) from Lunenburg’s Zoning Bylaw.  
◼ Delete Section 250 -6.4(C)(7)(c)(1)(e) the phrase “max number of lots: 4” and substituting therefor the phrase “max number of 
primary dwellings: 4,” regarding residential common driveways;  
◼ Amend the Code of Lunenburg, Chapter 204 -1, (Stormwater and Storm Sewers) to give the Planning Board the authority to set 
the fee schedule for Stormwater permits.
