 Town of Lunenburg  Select Board Meeting Minutes Lunenburg Middle/High School Auditorium 1079 Massachusetts Avenue Saturday, May 2, 2026  Members Present: Chair Caesar Nuzzolo, Vice-Chair Amanda Moore, Clerk Renee Emkey, Member Brian Lehtinen, and Member Glenn McLeod Members Absent: None  CALL TO ORDER  Chair Caesar Nuzzolo called the meeting to order at 8:30 AM.  NEW BUSINESS I. POTENTIAL VOTES ON DEFERRED WARRANT ARTICLES  Vice-Chair Amanda Moore moved to recommend approval of Article 7: That the Town vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $1,895.00 for payment of prior year expenses, including outstanding invoices owed to Arrow Septic in the amounts of $1,317.50 and $577.50, and to raise and appropriate the sum of $5,196.66 for payment of a prior year expense, which shall be paid from the Fiscal Year 2026 appropriation to the Lunenburg Public Schools for an outstanding invoice owed to Nexamp. Seconded by Clerk Renee Emkey. Call for the vote: Five-aye. The motion passed unanimously (5-0-0).  Vice-Chair Moore moved to pass over Article 8.  Seconded by Clerk Emkey. Call for the vote: Five-aye. The motion passed unanimously (5-0-0).   Vice-Chair Moore moved to recommend approval of Article 9: That the Town transfer from Free Cash the sum of $520,000 to the FY2026 “Snow Removal Expense” line to cover Fiscal Year 2026 operating deficits.  Seconded by Clerk Emkey. Call for the vote: Five-aye. The motion passed unanimously (5-0-0).  Vice-Chair Moore moved to recommend approval of Article 21: That the Town fund the first year of the Collective Bargaining Agreement dated July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2029 with PFFM Local 5369, Professional Firefighters Union with no further appropriation required. Seconded by Clerk Emkey. Call for the vote: Five-aye. The motion passed unanimously (5-0-0).  Vice-Chair Moore moved to recommend approval of Article 23: To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds, a sum of money to fund the first year of the Collective Bargaining Agreement dated July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2028 with Teamsters Union Local 170, DPW; or take any other action relative thereto.  Seconded by Clerk Emkey. Call for the vote: Five-aye. The motion passed unanimously (5-0-0).
