 SPECIAL TOWN MEETING  
THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 3, 2026 
 
To All Interested Parties:  
 
In accordance with General Laws, Chapter 39, Section 10, and Article 2, § 2-5 of the Town 
Charter, and upon the receipt of a written petition signed by the necessary number of registered 
voters of the Town of Lunenburg, the Select Board, at the meeting of July 27, 2026, voted to call 
a Special Town Meeting for Thursday, September 3, 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Lunenburg 
Middle/High School Auditorium. 
 
The Select Board also voted to open the warrant for submission of articles on July 28, 2026 and 
close the warrant on August 7, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.   
  
All warrant articles must be submitted to the Office of the Select Board, 17 Main Street, P O Box 
135, Lunenburg, MA 01462 by 5:00 PM on August 7, 2026.
