Senior Citizen Property Tax Work-Off Program & Taxation Aid Committee
MINUTES OF MEETING - NOVEMBER 17, 2015
Meeting called to order by Sue Doherty at 10:03 am, at Eagle House Senior Center. Members present: Myleen
Mallari, Jean Larkin, Sheila Craigen and Sue Doherty. Approval of October 27, 2015 minutes motioned by Sue
and second by both Myleen and Jean.
Review of calendar year 2015 program: Sue stated we have received all 2015 time sheets.
Approve informational paperwork for calendar year 2016 program: Members discussed the 2016
application to be completed by the Tax Work-Off applicants. Members agreed on a due date of January 4,
2016 for the applications.
Sue stated that the program will be advertised in December on both local cable television and the Lunenburg
Ledger.
Board Member Vacancy: Some discussion on the one opening for the Tax Work-Off Program.
Myleen mentioned she is still hoping to have her assistant (Sally Deming) take her place as the representative
for the Treasurer/Collectors Office. Myleen will remain until she is able to view the Bylaws and get approval
from the Board of Selectman.
Department requests: Sue stated to date, there are 13 Town Department requests.
Date and time of next meeting: The next meeting set for January 12, 2016 at 10:00 am.
Meeting adjourned at 10:32 am.
