Jo sent the article on Emily’s Sundance Film festival nomination to several newspapers to be published and boosted her article on Facebook. 11. Jo checked into cost for cameras for live broadcast and cameras to loan. 12. Live broadcasting from the studio to the town hall did not work due to the firewall. 13. Live broadcasting again could not live broadcast in the new school auditorium. Solution for both is be ing worked on with the town’s IT department and access/AV. 14. Castus storage updated was performed on their end. Extra tetra byte storage was purchased as well. 15. Jo is working on a step by step process of live broadcasting on the castus. 16. Jo presented PACC with Comcast’s revenue report for the past year. Business and strategic plan update-Finalize: 1. Faith made an amendment to approve the business pla n dated Jan 9 th to send to the cable advisory committee. The committee approved. CAC and Budget update: review ready to release: 1. Jo is still reviewing cameras to purchase with Robert from Access/TV. 8. Training session of castus will be pushed back to March. 9. SDS cards will be purchased for extra storage. 10. Started filming financial committee meetings this month. 11. The tri caster 450 will no longer being supportive. Upgrade will be about $3000. 12. Jo met with a clothing supplier and got a quote for fleece jackets. About $65 per jacket. Will look into making t-shirts for spring and summer events. 13. Went over the FY16 annual town report and a motion was made of the approvals of the PACC section of the town report. 14. Jo will submit it to the town by Feb. 14 th . FY18 Budget Review: 1. Faith made a motion to authorize the chairman of the committee to present a proposed PACC budget for FY18 to the town manager as discussed by the committee and report back at the next meeting. 2. Faith made a motion to approve all forms for FY18 budget. 3. All motions were approved by the committee. Cable Advisory Committee update: 1. They would like the public to attend the Comcast contract renewal meeting and express their concerns. The meeting is May 18 th , time to be determined. Sewer committee was recorded on DVD due to the Castus system going down during the meeting Tuesday Feb 28. 11. The school committee was recorded with no problem March 1 st . 12. The Castus system stopped recording during the town meeting March 2 nd . Jo contacted Access/ TV for support and is still waiting for a response. 13. Jo has been updating programs. 14. 77% local programming. Business and cable advisory committee update: 1. Faith would like to make a motion that the PACC request of the town to establish an enterprise fund in place of the special revenue fund for the FY2020 budget. The PACC approved. 2. Due date of the town warrant is March 27 th . 3. PACC made a motion for Steve Walker will write the warrant to move $162,800 over to the PAC operational fund from the special revenue fund for the annual town meeting. The PACC approved. Article 21 was added to the warrant based on the finance committee’s recommendation. 2. Article 7 was discussed about reducing the FY17 budget and adding the funds to the FY18 budget. Coordinator's monthly report: 1. Jo requested for the PACC to start to receive Mass Access emails and they have not been. 2. Michael Wallman is looking for full time work and will fill in when available. 3. Castus training is set for April 20th. 4. Live broadcast training with Emily and Michael. Worked in the Auditorium but not the studio. 5. Jo would like to purchase a new monitor for the Castus system. 6. Funds were moved to purchase of service to cover salaries. 7. Ending March balance was $309,510.78 8. Jo looked into purchasing cameras that hook up to the internet and broadcast live through the castus system. Her suggestion was to purchase two. Each camera will be around $2100. She will contact Robert at Access AV about cameras with directing capabilities. 9. Faith made a motion to approve a budget of not to excess $9000 to purchase three camera bundles appropriate for live broadcasting. The PACC committee approved. 10. Backup storage options for castus: ARRAY storage system. The board made a motion to purchase one for around $3000. The board approved. 11. Jo showed ads that she is putting in the Ledger. 12. Lacrosse games are being recorded. 13. 73% local produced programs. Business and cable advisory committee update: 1. The business plan is good to go. 2. The cable advisory is meeting with the lawyer to set up the meeting with Comcast for negotiations. 3. May 18th at 7pm is the public hearing for Comcast contract renewal. Her time is limited to recording 5. 73% local programming. 6. The new cameras have arrived. 7. The clarity of the channel was on auto and was disturbing the video quality. Coordinator's monthly report: 1. Two new cameras have arrived and tested. 2. Jo created all new PO’s for FY18. 3. Ending budget for June was $303,909.77 4. Band concerts have started taping. 5. Another request from Talkin’ baseball to record a show in the studio. 6. PACC’s step student starts next month. 7. Rhonda will start to get trained to record meetings at town hall. 8. A documentary about going to school in Lunenburg back in 1985 was viewed over 8,000 times on the Lunenburg Facebook page. 9. Advertisement charges in the Lunenburg Ledger were charged to PAC. 10. Cameras came in at 8255, under that allotted budget. 11. Health insurance adjustment was made. 12. Year-end program analysis was 75% which was pretty good considering the amount of people involved. 13. Teleprompter information is rolling in helping the PAC to make a decision to purchase. Business and cable advisory committee update: 1. Business plan was submitted to CAC and the lawyers. 2. The plan was approved and made public records. 3.
